Privacy Policy

Last updated March 2025. This policy covers how Alyeska Dev collects, uses, and protects information while we craft prototypes, integrations, and hardware demos for founders.

1. Scope

Alyeska Dev builds rapid prototypes, MVPs, and hardware demos for founders and investors. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website, book a discovery call, sign up for updates, or work with us under a Statement of Work ("SOW").

By accessing our services you consent to the practices outlined below. If you disagree, please discontinue use of the site and services.

2. Information we collect

We collect information that you voluntarily provide during discovery calls, intake forms, technician/partner questionnaires, payment onboarding, or project collaboration. This may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, job titles, company details, billing information, pitch decks, product requirements, source data, and hardware specifications.

We automatically capture limited technical data when you browse our site such as IP address, device/browser metadata, and analytics events (page views, referrers).

If you join user testing or hardware trials, we may collect sensor data, error logs, and feedback tied to your account or device ID.

3. How we use information

Project delivery: designing, building, and shipping prototypes; integrating APIs; fabricating hardware; and providing advisory services.

Operations: scheduling calls, sending status updates, issuing invoices, and maintaining our CRM/project management workflows.

Analytics and improvement: analysing aggregate usage to improve our website, offerings, and internal tooling.

Compliance and legal: maintaining records required for accounting, tax, export control, or to respond to lawful requests.

4. Service providers & partners

We rely on vetted third parties for hosting, analytics, collaboration, fabrication, payment processing, shipping, and QA. Examples include Vercel, Notion, Linear, Figma, GitHub, Stripe, DHL, and electronics suppliers.

These providers access personal or project data only as necessary to deliver their service to us and are obligated to handle data securely under their respective agreements.

5. Founder and user content

Prototypes often contain customer data, proprietary algorithms, or integration secrets supplied by you. We store that content in dedicated project spaces with access restricted to your assigned team. We do not reuse or resell your proprietary content for other clients without written permission.

6. Data retention

We keep project records, contracts, invoices, and communications for as long as necessary to deliver the engagement and meet legal obligations. Source code, design files, firmware, and datasets are retained based on the SOW or your off-boarding instructions.

Demo environments may be decommissioned within 60 days of project completion unless you request continued hosting or support.

7. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards including SSO-protected repositories, encrypted storage where available, two-factor authentication on cloud services, and principle-of-least-privilege access. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by emailing us. We respond within a reasonable timeframe, subject to applicable law and contractual constraints.

Marketing communications include an unsubscribe option. Transactional notices (e.g., invoices, project updates) are required to deliver the services and may not be opted out of while an engagement is active.

9. International data transfers

We operate from the United States. If you access our services from another country, you consent to transferring your information to the U.S. and to the processing and storage of your data in accordance with this Policy and U.S. law.

10. Children

Our services are built for founders, investors, and professional teams. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 16. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services evolve. When we post updates we revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated by email or within project workspaces. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
